EMMA: Birthday & Anniversary Automations

FOR LIVE EXAMPLE: Please log into Emma, choose “TLS – Business Name – ESP# | Category Types | Programs” account, go to Automation, and see both Birthday and Anniversary workflows.

BIRTHDAY AUTOMATION WORKFLOW:

Go to the Automation tab

Click on Create New Workflow

Workflow Name: Birthday

Audience: Any Contact in My Audience (click Confirm)

Trigger Event: Date Based (click Next)

• Select: Birthday (click Next)
• Select: Every Year on the Anniversary of this date (click Next)
• Click Confirm

Click on “immediately on date in Birthday field”

• Choose “before” in the drop down
• Enter 14 Days in the open field
• Click Done

Clicl + in the Box

• Choose: Send Mailing
• Choose Birthday Campaign
• Click Save & Publish

Click Save Workflow

Click to Activate Workflow

ANNIVERSARY AUTOMATION WORKFLOW:

Go to the Automation tab

Click on Create New Workflow

Workflow Name: Anniversary

Audience: Any Contact in My Audience (click Confirm)

Trigger Event: Date Based (click Next)

• Anniversary (click Next)
• Every Year on the Anniversary of this date (click Next)
• Click Confirm

Click on “immediately on date in Anniversary field”

• Choose “before” in the drop down
• Enter 14 Days in the open field
• Click Done

Clicl + in the Box

• Choose: Send Mailing
• Choose Anniversary Campaign
• Click Save & Publish

Click Save Workflow

Click to Activate Workflow
