Recently Apple has implemented a new requirement for Apps wishing to get into the App stores. This document should be requested and obtained up front for all accounts, right along with their driver’s license and other necessary information.
Requirements of the documentation, per Apple:
- You/your company’s name
- Ownership between you (your name) and the business/entity (business name)
- Relevant signatures & dates
- Details explaining your affiliation with the business/entity
So far, TLS has been successful in meeting Apple’s requirements with the following types of forms:
- Fee Assessment Forms
- Tax Forms
- Business documents showing the ownership of the business being assigned to the specific person we are working with
As this list grows or information changes, we will keep this blog post updated. We are open to trying new types of documentation so long as they meet Apple’s requirements as listed above. As they are approved, we will add them to this list as acceptable forms of documentation for the future.
