EMMA: Campaigns – Multi-Loc Dynamic Coding
HOW TO ADD DYNAMIC CONTENT FOOTERS TO EMAIL SENDS:
For each email you send, you will need to enter HTML coding into your template. Simply drag and drop into your template like you would text or an image. Click on edit HTML. You can simply copy and paste coding into the HTML field that will pull in location specific data for your multi location accounts. You can find this coding in a shared campaign called “DYNAMIC CONTENT CODING FOR MULTI LOCS”.
You will need to EDIT this coding to match YOUR account’s location information. There are only two location listings in the coding to start you off but you can add more as you need. Simply copy and paste from a “START” to a “FINISH” to add another location entry. Please remember to edit the location verbiage for the START and END, the verbiage for the PRIMARY LOCATION, and the address and phone. You cannot do a preview or a test send of dynamic content, but you can send yourself a real send to double check that it is working properly. Make sure you place this HTML field in the very bottom of your template. You can see an example of what it looks like and where to place it in the shared campaign called “EXAMPLE OF DYNAMIC CONTENT CODING IN TEMPLATE”. This is what the dynamic content will look like upon send IF THE SUBSCRIBER HAS A LOCATION SELECTED….
This is what it will look like IF THE SUBSCRIBER DOES NOT HAVE A LOCATION SELECTED and you can edit this verbiage within the coding as needed.
