When you share an email up to the Asset level, and share it back down to a subaccount, you will need to update the From Name, From Sender Email, AND the Sign Up Form. The shared email template keeps the previous From Name, From Sender Email, and it breaks the Sign Up Form link so all three of these things need to be updated/corrected before you can send yourself a test or an actual send.
TO UPDATE THE FROM NAME/FROM SENDER EMAIL: Simply remove the old From Name and From Sender Email and type in the one for the account you are working in.
TO UPDATE THE SIGN UP FORM: Simply click on the drop down arrow, select any of the secondary sign up forms on the list (other than default sign up form) and then click BACK onto default sign up form or whatever form you wish to use. This simple click on, click off, triggers the system to update the sign up form to match the sign up form for the business you are working in.
NOTE REGARDING SIGN UP FORMS: If you do not have more than one sign up form, you will need to quickly create a test one to create the ability to click on a different sign up form, to be able to click back on the form you desire to use.
IMPORTANT: Please make sure that you send yourself a test send and double check that each three of these things are correct before scheduling an actual send.
