New Ownership Procedure

Whenever there is a change in ownership for an existing program, a new contract is always required. Finance will always need to “cancel” the old account, and begin billing for the “new” account.

Anytime this takes place, the account needs to go through the normal onboarding process. Onboarding will ensure that everything is correct before moving over to live maintenance. If you ever have a similar situation, please alert Emily so she can oversee the changes and make sure everything gets taken care of as needed. We will make sure that there is as little disruption to service as possible during the transition.

There are occasional times when an account will deviate from the above process and go straight to onboarding, but this needs to be decided by Sloan and Emily.
