APP: App Audit Checklist

Below are a few “best practice” type of things for maintenance coaches to look out for when updating an App while auditing it.

  1. Remove outdated specials
  2. Update/remove broken/old URL’s
  3. Disable unused modules
  4. Update Widgets (below are available in the Widgets folder)
    (make sure your widgets are not miss-matched and have the rounded corners for best look)
    • Order Online
    • Catering
    • Social Media pages
    • Text Club
    • Email Club
    • Write A Review
    • Survey
    • Suggestion Box
  1. Add LF Deal Link (if applicable)
    • Name the URL “Online Savings” and use the LF widget image
  2. Update Punch Templates
    • We have a lot of new great looking templates that apply to lots of businesses
  3. Update Punch Card Verbiage/Text Formatting
    • Make it look good, condense long sentences, bold offers, un-bold additional text, italicize disclaimers, etc.
    • Make sure it states somewhere that the customer needs to show the staff the card to get punches or redeem the reward
  4. Remove unnecessary text from home screen
    • The less cluttered-the better!
  5. Update Module Order
    • Online Ordering
    • Rewards Cards (name this module “Download Offer” if they only have a D.I.)
    • Coupons
    • Local Flavor (name this URL “Online Savings” – widget available)
    • Specials
    • Menu(s)
    • Events, Products, Services, HTML, Catering, etc.
    • Locations Module (name this module “Map & Hours”)
    • Gallery (name this URL “Photos”)
    • Social Media (Facebook, IG, Twitter, Yelp, etc.)
    • Email Club (add email sign up URL from EOD if applicable-widget available)
    • Suggestion Box (name this URL “Leave Feedback” – widget available)
  6. Review App Brief – Update if necessary
    • Email and add maintenance task for Proofreader to update – once finished, request resubmission with updated app brief
  7. Review App icon, Splash screen, and Home Screen – Update if necessary
    • Email and add maintenance task for Artist(s) to update – once finished place in provisioning and/or CMS and request resubmission if splash or icon is updated
  8. Review Screenshots – Update if necessary
    • Email and add maintenance task for Content Builder(s) to update – once finished, request resubmission with updated screenshots
  9. Review Marketing Material – Update if necessary
    • Email and add maintenance task for Artist(s) to update. Make sure Download Incentive, Rewards Cards, Online Ordering, etc are all mentioned if applicable. Make sure email sign up cards are updated to latest format with business location ID on them if applicable
